Put three familiar objects on a tray and name each one together, touching it as you say it.
Ask your child to close their eyes or turn around. Cover the tray, remove one object and hide it behind your back.
Uncover and ask what is missing. If they cannot say it, let them point. Reveal the object and name it before starting the next round.
This requires holding a mental image of what was there and comparing it to what is there now — an early exercise in visual working memory, and one of the few games where the child must reason about something no longer visible.
